Elevate Technology Consulting is a Canadian firm with global experience. With over a decade in the luxury hospitality industry, we truly believe in designing the most seamless, state-of-the-art experience for our clients (and yours). We boast expertise in infrastructure technology, communications, networking, audiovisual, security, lighting, guestroom controls and energy management design.

Rishi Mistry, Principal and Founder, has travelled the world developing trusting, long-term relationships with Owners, Developers, Consultants and Contractors.

He spent the majority of his career with the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, the original designers of a white glove guest experience. As a Technology Manager in the Design and Construction department, his work included assisting with all aspects of new-build hotels, major renovations, and mixed-use residential and hotel projects.

Combining a luxury experience with a rigorous, pragmatic approach, Elevate Technology Consulting prides itself on creating efficient environments that complement the way people work, live, and play.

Rishi

Rishi spent most of his career at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, one of the world’s leading luxury hotel operators, holding various positions during his time there.

In 2005, Rishi joined the Application Development team at Four Seasons, supporting over 250 users globally. He collaborated with Human Resources and worked for cross-departmentally, training staff at new and existing properties on systems and applications used throughout the Hotels and Resorts.

In 2009, Rishi moved departments and joined the Design and Construction department as a Technology Support Specialist, supporting the Manager and Director of Technology through all phases of the design and construction process of new openings and major renovation projects. He started to take on his own project load and began managing a long list of properties with the team.

After a short time, Rishi moved into a Manager role and continued to expand his scope and responsibilities, overseeing 22 new builds, 3 major renovations and 2 rebranding opportunities.

Along with ensuring projects were on schedule and in compliance with Four Season’s requirements, Rishi assisted in the development and maintenance of the Brand Standards, continued to maintain vendor relationships and worked closely with his colleagues to achieve a seamless global guest experience. Rishi also assisted in the development of a guestroom controls system with a leading global controls company and oversaw the first implementation in the United States.

Following the success in his career at Four Seasons, Rishi has decided to concentrate his efforts on Elevate Technology Consulting LTD. He continues to stay involved within the Hospitality industry, attends industry association conferences and events and is a member of a number of associations including Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) and the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA formerly Infocomm).

Jon

Jon is a Security and ICT Professional with 20 years’ experience designing and implementing unified solutions for blue-chip companies across hospitality, commercial, residential, retail, and industrial sectors across the globe. The customers with whom he has been creating the best systems in the world of technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible, include, Oetker Collection, Société Générale, Lodha, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Rolls-Royce, among many others. His journey, aside from being professionally motivated, has been permeated with the personal drive to elevate businesses and transform the global scene by capitalizing on technological influence.

In 2001, Jon started elevating our industry through ICT support before specializing in Security and ICT Infrastructure Design. He became an expert in Networking, Structured Cabling, Security and Telephony by dedicating the last twenty years of his life to introducing new opportunities for businesses as the world that we had previously known started to change at a rapid rate. Seeing that big corporations started adopting the World Wide Web, Jon used the technological transformation to implement new unified ways for businesses to communicate internally.

In 2004, as the security industry transitioned from older technologies, Jon saw the potential in connecting two previously distinct functions, the physical and information security, to revolutionize the world of security. He started developing technologies for improved risk management for clients across the globe, starting with Canary Wharf Management in London. A short time later, he went on to manage Stirk Lamont Associates’ ICT and Security Businesses in Belfast and soon after would support some of the biggest companies in the country as well as overseas, which included HCL Technologies and G4S, before being appointed as Technical Director of Newcmi.

Jon went on to become an ICT and Security Consultant for a number of global clients, working on projects from concept to implementation and post-handover support. Some of his achievements in his new Consultant role include delivering one of the first hospitality GPON installations at the iconic Lanesborough Hotel in London and upgrading NEC Birmingham’s campus security system, which covers 611 acres and welcomes 2.3 million visitors every year. Jon also got to see the world in this capacity and travelled from Colombia, opening two Boutique Hotels, to Kuwait, delivering the Alshaya Group their new Corporate Head Office. Other destinations include Moscow, Russia, San Juan, Puerto Rico, São Paulo, Brazil and Dubai, UAE where he met Rishi for the first time. Working together, he quickly realized their visions collided and, as they went on to deliver a number of Four Seasons Hotel projects together, he knew their paths would cross again in the future.

Following this, Jon joined Vindex Systems as Head of Technical Services. This role allowed him to employ his exceptional leadership skills and a futuristic vision, as he led the design and engineering teams, as well as a software development team, in creating bespoke software platforms.

Throughout his career, he followed a simple personal philosophy that got him all these achievements: only by working closely with his clients can he propose the right solutions for their projects. This dedicated engagement with the customer to truly understand their needs and directions for the future makes Jon a unique specialist in his field of expertise.
